Glover Book

The first books from Norfolk author Nicole Glover may provide you with a thoughtful gift this holiday season. In “The Conductors,” Glover delivers a tale that combines history and fantasy in the best ways. The book tells the story of Hetty and Benjy Rhodes, two African American conductors on the Underground Railroad who use cunning and magic to solve murders and mysteries that the white authorities ignore. “The Conductors” is Glover’s debut and first installment of her “Murder & Magic” series; the second title, “The Undertakers,” is being released this November.
